Little Evi is 6 months old this month!


She's so curious. But doesn't put things in her mouth. She's a smart kid!



She has such a sweet personality.


She learned to sit up all by her self. She's always preferred to be in the sit up position rather than the laying down position. She's too interested in what's going on!





Happy 6 months Evi!

Natalie had a competition in St. George. The whole family couldn't go because Jase and Ash had play practice and with the play coming so fast they couldn't miss the practices. Jamison, the wonderful father that he is, took her down. The competition was on Sat. She did her freestyle (2nd!) then went back to sit with Jamison. After a little bit, she got slammed with a migraine and was really hurting. Jamison was debating going to get her a coke when she looked over and saw her team getting ready to go on! They were 40 min.'s a head of schedule!

Natalie rushed over and joined her team. Her teacher was very relieved! Natalie told her she had a headache and was worried about going on. She told her to just go out and smile and do her best. That's exactly what Natalie did. She did great. Her teacher told her that if Nat hadn't told her she had a headache she'd have never guessed she didn't feel good.

After the team dance (they got 1st!) Nat went back to Jamison and collapsed in tears. The didn't stay for the awards. Poor kid! But she did what she had to do! Way to go Nat!

I learned an important lesson in March- don't test drive new cars if your happy with the one you've got! I test drove the 2009 Odyssey and LOVED it! A couple days later, just to see if we could sell it, we posted our van on KSL classified and with in 24 hours we had 3 offers. We sold it for what we were asking. We delivered it to the family Wed. at lunch time them stopped at Willey Honda on the way home and got our new van!

We loved our van for 9 years. It was a great car. It was good enough that we wanted another one. No other kind even appealed to us.

Jamison took off the plates then we turned over the keys and watched it drive away. It is a little weird to think that it isn't ours any more. We ended up giving them our ski rack because we couldn't get our cross bars off. Lucky them! The new owners live in Riverton so it's not likely that we will ever seen them driving around. That's probably a good thing because our kids would probably cry! We love our new one tons too!

Nat's team danced to "It's a Hard Knock Life" from Annie. Isn't she a cute little orphan!

Natalie's Freestyle solo. They line up, each with a number then dance together- each doing their own thing, then each gets to go out and do a little about 30 second solo. They finish by everyone doing it at the same time one more time. It was so fun to see Natalie do this. She looked so happy!

My Mom was awarded with the Silver Beaver award. She's served in scouting, PTA, Governor's Youth Task force, Primary, with Dad as mission pres. in Japan- if it's youth involved, she's probably volunteered for it. She is pretty much amazing!

Yes, I was wearing my Den Leader shirt, we came straight from pack meeting. Yes, I am missing some patches- don't worry though, I went the next day and bought them. I even have them sewn on (ok- maybe tacked on in some cases) now. I look much more official now!

The Silver Beaver is the highest award adult volunteers can receive. It is a huge honor. The recipient doesn't even know they have been nominated until after they have been selected to receive it. Someone else who has notices their service will work with family and others to gather information about the person and put together the papers to turn in. After that the papers are reviewed and the recipients are selected. Even at this point the person has no clue. In our stake, the stake presidency will either call them in or, like this year, drop by their home to announce to them that the will be receiving it.

Each Silver Beaver walks out as a little bio is read and pictures showing about them and their service is shown on the screen behind them. Pretty awesome huh!

My little silver beavers! My dad received his last year and my father-in-law received his the year before! I think I have a legacy to live up to- not to get the Silver Beaver, but to "Do my best..."
