This is Upper Falls. This was a surprising water fall. We walked along a trail for a little bit and could hear the falls but couldn't see them. When we got to the look out we were right on top of the head of the falls. It was dizzying! I got some fun pictures of that too but we were too close to the falls to get a picture with us in it there. This is on another trail.

We were driving down the road and saw some people pulled over. We saw this guy up there but noticed the cameras were pointed somewhere else. I asked man who was walking by what they were looking at and he told us that there was a coyote around the bend. One thing about the buffalo that is really neat to see is that on Monday when we first went into the park we could tell they were starting to shed their heavy coats. By today (wed) many are significantly done. Their back ends are down to the smother skin stuff. This guy is still pretty hairy but you can see his bald spots.

Here is the coyote. What a beautful animal. We saw one yesterday, but it was too far away to get a very good picture. This one was up about 50 ft. on the hill side. Don't worry mom, I stayed in the car to take the pictures!

These were the first non-buffalo that we saw today. I love to see the wildlife here. It has been so fun! We have to be alert so we don't run over any or crash into the cars stopped to either take pictures or let them cross- or both. (These were taken through the car windshield.)
